About this tour
Dive into Tokyo's legendary street food scene with a local foodie guide through the neon-lit alleys of Shinjuku and Shibuya.
Over the course of three delicious hours, you'll taste seven to eight different specialties including freshly grilled yakitori, crispy tempura, savory okonomiyaki, and the creamiest matcha soft serve in the city. Each stop comes with stories about the food's history and the families who have perfected these recipes over generations.
All food tastings and two drinks (beer, sake, or soft drink) are included. Vegetarian modifications available upon request.

The highlight of our Japan trip!
This food tour was hands down the best thing we did in two weeks in Japan. Yuki, our guide, took us to places we would NEVER have found on our own. The yakitori in Memory Lane was life-changing. We ate so much food that we skipped dinner the next day. An absolute must-do in Tokyo.

Incredible food, incredible guide
From the first bite of tempura to the last spoonful of ramen, every stop on this tour was a winner. Our guide Kenji was passionate, funny, and spoke perfect English. He even helped us order food at restaurants for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend!

Great tour for foodies
Really enjoyed the variety of food and the local atmosphere. The portions were generous and the sake pairing was a nice touch. Would have loved one more savory stop instead of the dessert, but that's just personal preference. Four stars because it was very good, five stars are reserved for perfection!
